1
Friendship
Promotion of friendship among members of ACPA is the most important in the activity of ACPA.
2
Education Program
Information exchange of academic programs including curriculums will be necessary for the advancement of university education systems in the region. Asian countries are quite diversified. This diversity gives difficulties in learning from others but at the same time provides advantages of many good models for references.
3
Exchange Program
Exchange of good students has been recognized as a cooperation among countries of any technical level. This enhances information exchanges and human links.
4
Textbook Task Force
ACPA can promote textbooks and software suitable for these regions. Since technical levels are different in the region, textbooks could be different from standard ones in world markets.
5
Information Center Program
This information center can store all information necessary for ACPA and can be accessed easily through internet. This is particularly efficient since Asian countries are located distantly.
6
Technical Journal Publication
The Asian Journal of Control is approved by and affiliated with ACPA. The journal publishes quarterly high-quality papers on original theoretical and experimental research and development in areas of control theory and its application. ACPA members can be offered at special discounted rate.
7
Regional Cooperation Projects
ACPA members can help promote a project in a country to other ones. For example, an educational software package developed by a member can be introduced to other countries by ACPA members. ACPA keeps close relation with the European Union Control Association.

Forums and workshops on technical and non-technical regional issues can be held so as to understand different emphasis of each country.

ACPA General Meeting is held at least once per year.
