The Asian Control Association (ACA) is a non-profit scientific and engineering association, not a commercial or political body. The Secretariat of ACA collects the following personal information during the registration process in order to provide registration and related conference services:
• ID (Email Address), Password, Nationality, Title, Name (First and Last), Affiliation, Department, Position, Phone Number, Mobile Phone Number
B. Method of Collection
• Website and Online Registration Form
• Fax, Telephone, Email
• Information provided by cooperative partners and organizations
C. Purpose of Use
• To process and confirm registration, manage participation, and deliver notifications
• To provide event-related information and services (including catering or accompanying person arrangements if requested)
• To issue invoices, receipts, and certificates
• To communicate important announcements regarding ACA activities and events
• To use photographs or video taken during the event for documentation and promotional purposes (unless you notify the Secretariat in advance of your objection)
2. Retention and Disposal
Personal information will be retained only for the duration necessary to fulfill the purposes above and will be securely deleted once the purpose no longer applies.
• For handling participant inquiries: up to 30 days after withdrawal
• For providing conference-related information: until the end of the event contract period
3. Provision to Third Parties and Outsourcing
ACA does not provide personal information to third parties without user consent. However, certain tasks may be entrusted to reliable service providers (e.g., website hosting,
payment processors, event logistics partners) strictly within the scope of the purposes stated above.
4. User Rights
Registered participants may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information, or withdraw their consent at any time by contacting the ACA Secretariat.
5. Safeguards
ACA applies appropriate administrative and technical measures, including encryption and access controls, to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
