Quantum technology is rapidly emerging as a transformative frontier in science and engineering, bringing new paradigms to computation, communication, sensing, and simulation. By harnessing fundamental quantum phenomena, including superposition, entanglement, and quantum coherence, quantum systems provide unprecedented opportunities to address challenges beyond the capabilities of conventional technologies.
The Technical Committee on Quantum Control and Computing (TC-QCC) of the Asian Control Association (ACA) aims to promote research, education, and collaboration in the interdisciplinary field of quantum technologies and control. The TC provides a platform for researchers, engineers, and practitioners to advance theoretical foundations, algorithm development, and practical implementations of quantum systems.
Quantum systems exhibit unique characteristics that distinguish them from classical dynamical systems, requiring new approaches to modelling, estimation, control, and optimization. The TC focuses on emerging topics including quantum control, quantum estimation, quantum feedback systems, quantum computing, quantum information processing, quantum sensing, and the integration of quantum technologies with modern control theory and artificial intelligence.
The TC seeks to foster international collaboration, facilitate knowledge exchange, support young researchers, and promote advances in quantum engineering. Through workshops, seminars, conferences, and collaborative research activities, the TC will contribute to strengthening the role of ACA in this emerging field and encouraging broader engagement with quantum technologies.
Together, we aim to develop new theories, methods, and applications that bridge quantum science and control engineering, accelerating the realization of next-generation quantum technologies.
